Weclome to the beta!

I decided to go live with a beta version of this document because I find I will get bogged down in some perfectionist spirals that do not help me complete things. By calling it a beta, I give myself permission to let go of it a bit and get it out into the world. That said, I know that, in its current state, the document is woefully incomplete. On my to-do list in particular, are:

• sections on different sorts of wilderness activities,
• populating the wilderness, and
• dealing with weather. 

I will also of course be taking any feedback and ideas on board. Keep in mind that this is a guide aimed squarely at beginner types so that will be my focus. If you end up giving this a download, I hope it's useful to you and please let me know what you think!
