Yesterday, as part of #RPGaDay2025, I wrote up an idea for Troupe on leveraging dice that don’t produce boons in combat:

The seed word for this post is “challenge” but, rather than come at it literally, I’m going to look at a figurative challenge that I am facing: should attacks in combat always do something? If so, what?

Today, I put together a module for adding weapon effects for Troupe. Right now, it’s in closed BETA which means it’s available for patrons over on the Patreon. Once I get it finalized, it’ll get released in some form.
